About the Employer The Riverside County Office of Education (RCOE) is a service agency supporting the county's 23 school districts that serve nearly 430,000 students. RCOE provides administrative support to districts, leads programs for preschool, special education, pregnant minor, corrections, migrant, and vocational students, and offers professional training, support and resources for teachers, administrators, and staff throughout Riverside County.
Job Summary POSITION DESCRIPTION
The job of Certified Sign Language Interpreter is done for the purpose(s) of assisting in the instruction or supervision of hearing impaired students primarily in classroom settings (preschool, K-12 and adult); providing voice to sign and sign to voice support; assisting students, teachers and parents in communicating and serving as a resource to other school personnel requiring assistance with hearing impaired persons.
This position will include travel within Riverside County, including Beaumont and Murrieta.
Requirements / Qualifications - Certification (Valid certification by the National Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) or equivalent. (Please see job description for further details)
