Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at SMART Physician Recruiting, LLC summary:

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia care primarily for endoscopy, orthopedic, pediatric dental, and obstetric surgeries, working independently with no supervision. The role requires active licensure in Oklahoma and certifications including ACLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA, with a rotating call schedule and shift hours from 7 AM to 3 PM. This locum tenens position offers competitive pay, malpractice insurance coverage, and paid travel accommodations while supporting ongoing permanent recruitment needs.

SMART is actively recruiting for a locum CRNA to provide coverage for a client of ours in Oklahoma. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and will be an ongoing need during permanent recruitment.

Qualifications:

• Active Oklahoma License.
• Certifications-ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA (AHA ACLS and PALS Required).

Job Summary:

• Credentialing Time Frame:60-90 days
• Shift Schedule:7a-3p, Call 3pm-7AM
• Call Schedule/Rotation Every 4th night; every 5th weekend
• Minimal Availability Required: 2-week blocks per month
• Supervision Model: No supervision
  
• Type of Cases Required: 3,800 a year; MOSTLY endo, ortho (includes joint replacements and spines), peds dental and OB (415 total deliveries last year / 160 was c sections / no VBACS). Also general, urology, pain mgmt., gyn, ENT, podiatry. Anticipate a ramp up in numbers for OB and general surgery.

• Number of OR s: 4.
• EMR: Meditech.
